About JKG Piano Services

"Music and playing instruments has always been a passion of mine. At aged 8, piano was the first instrument I learnt to play, it has therefor been a constant presence throughout my life. The piano is a pillar within the music world, over the centuries it has played such a vital role in the development of theory and practicality of composition and performance.  Advances in the piano's design around the turn of the nineteenth century facilitated its domestication, making it a common feature in households. Whether its 'Three blind mice' or 'La campanella' music is an integral part of who we are, enriching our lives and offering countless positive benefits. It is with this belief that I decided to work with Pianos and hopefully enrich the lives of other people in the same way it did mine."

Joseph has been working on pianos now for nearly a decade. The work started in piano restoration workshops repairing a large variety of pianos. This experience enabled him to gain knowledge on restoring modern and antique pianos to a high standard. His employment then progressed towards piano technician work for an esteemed piano shop. Until eventually he decided to start up JKG Piano Services.
